ARTWORK
POLICY
REGARDING
GUEST/GIFT ART:
Sorry, as of February 22, 2004 the guest artwork section is no longer being updated, due to time and bandwidth constraints. Thanks to everyone who contributed!
I can't lay claim to any of the characters
from "Cowboy Bebop", so you are free to download the CB fanarts
that I (EK) have drawn.
HOWEVER, if you want to put them on your website...
1. Please E-mail
me and ask me first. In all likelihood, I will say yes, unless your
page has hate/porn/illegal content. I'm not really worried about art theft, but it's interesting to see where the images get posted. :-)
PLEASE DO NOT DIRECT LINK TO ANY IMAGES OR FILES ON THIS SITE USING IMG SRC.
This includes banners and wallpapers in addition to fanarts. If you are plugging
my website in a forum, thank you, but please link to the main page rather
than a piece of artwork.
Users who try to direct-link an image on a webpage will only see this:

After the broadcast of "Cowboy Bebop" on Cartoon Network, direct-linking
of images caused my bandwidth use to skyrocket, costing me $750 in webhosting
fees. I faced the choice of: 1. closing the site, 2. going broke, or 3. implementing a block, and I chose #3. I realize that this will probably be seen as an
affront, but please realize that I only do this because I cannot afford these high bandwidth costs. If I had the resources to let everyone post my fanart images freely around the web,
I would gladly do so.
Please be aware of the financial issues surrounding image linking, and extend the same courtesy
to all artists!
3. Please link to Somewhere
Down the Crazy River or Big
Big Truck on your site, and note "art by EK", if you use my fanart.
4. Using Japanese fanarts without permission is forbidden.
Please respect the artists' wishes and do not steal their works. All
Japanese fanart displayed on Somewhere Down The Crazy River has been presented
to me by the artist him/herself.

7. You are NOT free
to use any original artworks on big-big-truck.com's main portfolio page. Those
are my intellectual property and/or the property of the client(s) who commissioned
the image.
If you wish to use or purchase a non-commissioned image, please e-mail me and
we will negotiate rights and pricing where possible.
