I love comics, but I've never had the urge to go into the field myself. Truth is, I hate doing panelling. Still, occasionally I draw comic strips just for fun. Most of these are based on stuff that's happened to me, or on a creative/silly whim - and ALL of these are hasty, rough sketches.

Newest strips are at the top.

Quick Comics

Unfortunate Choice of Words
My husband catches foot-in-mouth disease only once or twice a year.

Quick Comics

Spaceship Dream - Page 1 - Page 2
I think this dream may have been trying to tell me something.

Quick Comics   The Great Mouse Poo
Looking back, I realize that most of the cartoons I loved as a child were actually pretty crappy.

Quick Comics   Legend of the Red Tape
Yes, I did draw this while in line at the Social Security Office.

Quick Comics   Hornet!
I just wanted to draw a series of silly facial expressions.

Old Stuff

Quick Comics   Straight-to-Pen Quick Comics
Some artists on an internet forum started a quick comic project - the rules were: straight to pen, no planning, no erasing. Just draw whatever pops into your head, and keep it within 4 panels. Here are mine.

diary doodles   True Story: A Comic Diary : March 2003 - Jan 2004
My creative writing teacher once said, "write what you know." My art teacher once said, "draw what you see." This is what it says - a comic strip diary. Drawn with whatever's handy, written about things that happen during the day, or just whatever's in my head.

WPOC   WPOC : May 2001 - Jan 2002
WPOC is just... random crap. Incredibly stupid, random crap.
"WPOC" stands for "Wildly Popular Online Comic". (Feel the intentional irony!) This started out as a poke at the world of webcomics, but wound up mutating into some massive 4th-wall violation - which is a cliche in itself..
