Commissioning Work
Please e-mail me with a clear description of your project, including deadline (if any). One-off commissioned character art is handled on a per-piece basis; larger freelance projects require the client's signature on an agreement form covering schedule, terms of payment, etc.


General Pricing Guide
Freelance Work:
Charges vary depending on project scope, estimated time/labor, and timespan/deadline. My base freelance rate is $40/hour. My rush rate (for projects with a deadline less than 2 weeks from contract signing) is $60/hour.

Character/Portrait/Cartoon Art:
Price varies depending on number of characters depicted, whether color is natural media or digital, size, resolution, and detail. Cartoon art is priced on a per-piece basis (rather than estimated labor time), and starts at $40 for small color pieces.
Prices at conventions are lower; however, commissions are first-come, first-serve, and I may not be able to take all comers.


Rights and Usage :
I retain the right to display commissioned art and design work on this site upon completion as part of my portfolio (with the exception of materials under a non-disclosure agreement).
Neither I nor the client may resell the commissioned work to third parties without written agreement.
When possible, please give written credit for artwork in the final material (e.g., liner notes on a CD, frontmatter in a book).
